Small acts, lasting impact

For me, service is about more than volunteering—it’s about creating opportunities for others and building sustainable impact. Whether teaching underprivileged children, empowering women, or helping inmates find dignity through work, each initiative has been a step toward bridging inequalities and fostering hope.

✨ Role Highlights

👩‍🏫 Volunteer, Ek Pehal School (2021–2025)

  • I taught Computer Science to students from grades 9–12, completing over 60 hours of sessions that helped them gain confidence in digital skills.

  • Proposed and started the “School on Wheels” 🚐📚 project — an initiative to take learning directly to children in slum areas and to the children of construction workers.

  • With the support of teachers, we organized 2-hour doorstep classes, reaching 75 children who otherwise had little or no access to education.

  • This experience taught me the power of education to create change, and how small steps can open big doors for others. 🌍✨

🤝 Mauqa – Doon School Social Service Initiative (2021–2025)

  • Worked with prison inmates 🏛️, helping them channel their creativity into handicraft production as a means of skill development and rehabilitation.

  • Collaborated with the team to design a market platform 🛍️ to showcase their work, generating over USD 3,000 in revenue 💰.

  • Beyond the financial impact, this initiative gave inmates a sense of dignity, purpose, and opportunities for reintegration into society. 🌱🙌
